Dalila de la Pomme

Dalila de la Pomme was born on the well-known stud farm Haras de la Pomme, belonging to the Baertsoen family.

She started her international career with rider Dorien De Vocht, after which Wilm Vermeir took over the reins and trained her to 1.50m level. Her strong performance at CSI3* and CSI4* level quickly generated a lot of interest and she was moved to the stables of the Swedish Evelina Tovek. Dalila, together with Evelina, was soon competing at the highest level. This resulted in numerous placings and Dalila also won the Nations Cup of Aachen with the Swedish team.

Dalila is a daughter of Taran de la Pomme, son of Tolano van ’t Riethof from Ta Belle van Sombeke. Her mother Duchesse De La Pomme and grandmother Vici van ’t Plutonia Hof were both successful at 1.60m level. Dam Duchesse de la Pomme used to compete with the Norwegian Mikkel Flam at international level. Duchesse is also dam of Gentiane de la Pomme, who used to be active at five star 1.60m level with Wilm Vermeir. Grandmother Vici van ‘t Plutonia Hof, daughter of Nabab de Reve, used to jump under the saddle of Ludo Phillipaerts and Francesca Crivellari.

Dalila herself gave birth to the Zangersheide approved stallion Bachelor van het Hulgenrode Z and Innocent van het Hulgenrode Z who is active at 1.45m level with Tom Schewe.
